First Annual Stranded Summit in NYC: Oct. 19-20

Stranded Media will be hosting its first annual Stranded Summit in New York City from October 19-20, 2014 at MILK Studios.

Stranded Media is a digital news outlet covering the New York beauty scene. The two-day summit will be for progressive stylists to learn from industry leaders. MODERN SALON is proud to be the official media partner for the event.

"Stranded Summit is creative, raw, original and uncensored," says Stranded Media Founder and CEO Patrick Kritchever. "We have a broad range of renowned speakers who will lend their perspective on the process of becoming a more accomplished artist, the importance of building a brand and where they draw their inspiration from.

"We want stylists to realize their full potential."

Monday, Oct. 20
Monday will feature look-and-learn workshops designed by Sean Gallagher, Serge Normant Salon hairstylist and Stranded Summit's creative director. Some stylists leading the workshops include:
-Ted Gibson and his Advanced Academy
-Aura Friedman, Creative Color director
-Alexandra Matiz, co-owner of Muze Salon, master stylist and colorist

Monday will conclude with a cocktail reception with DJ.

Complimentary breakfast, lunch, beverages, high-speed Internet and mobile-charging stations will be available both days. Early registration opens March 27, 2014.
