L’Oreal USA announces the appointment of John Costanza as General Manager for L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase and Shu Uemura Art of Hair. John’s extensive industry knowledge and distribution background made him the ideal choice for leading L’Oreal USA’s Prestige Partner Brands as the company continues to accelerate the growth of these strategic brands in the U.S.
Costanza brings 19 years of experience within the professional beauty and salon industry to his new role at L’Oreal USA. Most recently, he served as Group Vice President for Sally Beauty Holdings Canada and BSG United Kingdom. He was responsible for Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Human Resources across the street and store channels in Canada, as well as for the indirect sales force through the U.K. and Europe sub-distribution. Prior to that, Costanza was Vice President & General Manager for Beauty Systems Group Canada, where he was responsible for driving sales growth through stores and outside sales consultants.
From 1999 to 2001, Costanza was with Joico Hair Care Laboratories International, where he was the Regional Sales Manager, Northeastern U.S., with responsibility for developing the market penetration of the Joico brand. John also served as General Manager of Joico Canada from 1996 to 1999.
