Evoke Brands Debuts Wella Social Media Curriculum

Evoke Brands, Inc. took their social media expertise to the Big Apple, sharing social tips and tricks with salon professionals at the new Wella Studio NYC in New York City May 18, 2014. Nationally recognized industry educator, Kelly Ehlers, led the six-â€hour workshop "201: Defining Your Strategy and Mastering the Technical Basics", one of Evoke Brands’ most popular workshops teaching salon professionals the proper way to build and utilize the most popular social platforms. Focusing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, the in-depth, hands on and interactive class educates professionals with the expertise to boost their salon business and personal brands. Attendees walked in as social media rookies, and left equipped with the skills to develop their own unique voice online, and to explore campaign ideas through the most popular platforms.

Cole Stevens Salon Public Relations & Social Media Coordinator, Tiffany Tolliver, shares her experience: "Pinch your nose. Hold your breath. And JUMP into the world of social media with EVOKE Brand Strategies! I thought I had a pretty good grip on the ins and outs of the world's most used virtual communities…oh boy was I wrong! Kelly explores how Facebook, Twitter and Instagram can help your salon business reach its highest online potential. I learned everything from how to analyze social media statistics to tips for tapping into our guest's emotions to help build content they find the most insightful. You will leave overflowing with inspiration and renewed motivation to "Get Online and Tell Your Story!"

The new Evoke Brands Social Media Curriculum will be rolled out at both Studios, starting in August.
