Herbalosophy Treats Lucky Salon Owner to IBS, New York & More

Salon haircare brand Herbalosophy gave away a free trip to the International Beauty Show (IBS) in New York for one lucky winner.  Eric Hudgins, owner of R.E.H. Hair Designs in Atlanta, Georgia was the receipient of complimentary travel and hotel stay at the iconic Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan, along with show admission.  Hudgins, who had previously lived in New York's West Village when he was a "computer geek", had never attended IBS and he took full advantage of hs time at the show, soaking up the education, experience and inspiration.

"Almost everything at IBS was inspiring to me. There was something in every aspect of haircare that I could either use, relate to, or sell," said Hudgins. "I attended several classes including 'The Sahag Method - Dry Cut & Tapering' taught by AJ Everett and 'Ultimate Awareness & the Creative Process' taught by David Bangham. I also really enjoyed 'How to become an Icon Educator and Platform Artist' because that is my ultimate goal. I started my career a little later in my adult life but my experience makes me study harder and better, practice technique and constantly absorb knowledge. I want to be innovative yet able to rock the classics and then spin that around and teach it to the masses.

"I think it is very important to attend trade shows, I mean, where else can you get the best education on trends, new products, and techniques?  I will be taking alot of things back from IBS but the most important one is obvious; Herbalosophy will now be used and sold at R.E.H. Hair Designs."
