The search for trend setting colorists has begun—Goldwell has just announced their Color Zoom 2013 Beautify Challenge. Goldwell is inviting stylists from around the globe to participate in this contest that encourages hair artists, passionate about creative hair color to set the next color trend.
To enter, contestants must qualify in one of three categories, Global Creative Colorist, Global New Talent Colorist, and Global Partner Colorist.
Qualified contestants must submit their entries, including photographs of their color creations on a live model. Contestants will be judged in three pre-determined categories including: Interpretation of the Trend, Color Technique and Product Use, and Professionals and Aesthetics of the Picture.
A national winner will be determined for each of the three entry categories. Once these top candidates are selected, they will be invited to participate at the international competition—a live and hands-on competition in Los Angeles in October 2013—to compete against national finalists from around the world for the title of Global Creative Colorist, Global New Talent Colorist or Global Partner Colorist. Winners of the international Color Zoom competition will also become members of the new Global Color Zoom Creative Team that will create the next Color Zoom Collection.
The deadline to enter is May 31, 2013. National winners will be announced in July 2013. The Color Zoom Global Event in Los Angeles will take place on October 7, 2013. For more information, visit colorzoom13.com.
