Entitled “Associate Designer,” this position presents the opportunity to truly learn the inter-workings of a salon with emphasis on product knowledge, client interaction and technical training. The new Associate Designer role at JCPenney requires great customer service skills at the front desk by assisting both the Salon Leader and Master Stylists while simultaneously gaining experience in the industry. To be considered for the position, applicants must have a valid cosmetology license. Along with performing front desk duties, this person will also participate in jcpenney’s Expert Edge training program, will be mentored by Master Stylists and can also service walk-in clients. This position requires 25 hours a week.
