The Matrix IndiviDUALity tour. THE VENUE: The Foxwoods Resort in Ledyard, Connecticut.
THE DETAILS: The tour hit Ledyard, Nashville and Phoenix,
presenting to more than 600 stylists. The concept: One color and one
cut can lead to multiple styles reflecting the individuality of each
client. This two-day educational road show included a presentation
followed by a hands-on, step-by-step C.R.A.F.T. Education Master Class.
In each case, one color and one cut was restyled to create multiple
looks.
THE BUZZ: "This is a wonderful, inspirational event," says
Nicholas French, one of the educators along with other Matrix Global
Artistic Designers Daniel Roldan, Franco Della Grazia, Darek Wierzbicki
and UK-based Errol Douglas. "It's designed to showcase versatility and
celebrate a client's alter ego. A different style, a different
attitude."
THE LAST WORD: "This is great education for me," said one stylist
from Ridgefield, Connecticut. "I have one client who insists on the
same cut and color over and over. Now I can mix it up before she leaves
the salon."
