OPI is helping Ford celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Mustang model by creating a lacquer line inspired by the popular pony car. The limited edition line will be available internationally in July 2014.

"Cars and nail lacquer offer a way to express personality," says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI co-founder and executive vice president. "This new collection will deliver elements of sophistication, power and style fitting for both OPI and Mustang consumers."

The collections hero shade is to be Race Red, which is in tribue to an iconic Mustang color.

The Ford Mustang team has also expressed excitement about the partnership; they look forward to seeing the iconic car's spirit reflected in the lacquer line.
