HOW-TO: Create Bombshell Curls with Sultra's Bombsell

click image to zoom From fashioning wavy looks for a springtime weekend at a bed-and-breakfast to designing the most formal updo, you’ll need your Sultra Bombshell 1-Inch Rod Curling Iron at your side all season long! The Bombshell is a favorite of beauty editors at all of the top fashion magazines, and it was used backstage for the Alexander Wang and Rag & Bone spring/summer runway shows at New York Fashion Week. Remember the sultry, vintage waves on Jessica Chastain and Megan Fox at the Golden Globes? Yep, that was The Bombshell, too!

The currently available, specially priced Limited Edition Plum Nouveau iron comes with a matching beaded headband to offer clients the perfect gift with-purchase. "For a textured Bohemian vibe to take clients to a weekend music festival or seaside wedding, wrap the hair around the barrel and don't include the ends. Hold for just five seconds," says Omar Lopez, Sultra Artistic Director.

MAKE IT A DATE

*Clients love an after-hours styling party. Nothing’s more fun than “A Hair Date with The Bombshell” for your favorite clients and their guests!

*Select a Friday or Saturday night so your guests can go out on the town afterward.

*Send out save-the-dates followed by cute invitations.

*At the event, create a styling station for each Bombshell look, with stylists consulting at the Bombshell station of their choice.

*Offer an incentive—perhaps a small gift or a discount on a rebook—to guests who get styled and purchase a Bombshell.

*Encourage guests to post pics on social media and tag your salon!
