FASHION WEEK: Kevin Murphy at Angel Sanchez

Sassoon-trained celebrity hairstylist, Kevin Murphy, created his eponymous line of styling and treatment products to encapsulate his years of editorial work into a system that performs to his exacting standards. 

A member of the KEVIN MURPHY Styling Team, David Glover, went backstage during New York Fashion Week to create sleek, defined ponytails to complement designer Angel Sanchez’s structured styles on Monday, September 10 at Lincoln Center.  Hair was slicked smooth for a harder look at front, then knotted at the back in a loose ponytail.

“From the front, the hair aligned with the designer’s geometric vision and graphic, bold jewelry,” explains Glover. “From the back, the look is soft and feminine for a youthful, delicate counterpoint.”

Glover used BODY.BUILDER through the hair to boost volume, ANTI.GRAVITY through the top and sides, and TEXTURE.MASTER to finish the look.
