FASHION WEEK: Victoria Beckham and Alexander Wang

By Lauren Salapatek | 02/13/2012 2:19:00 PM

Redken Creative Consultant Guido created a style fit for the classic Alexander Wang girl at the designer’s Fall/Winter 2012 show on Saturday-it was a simple downtown look that bordered on tomboyish. The hair was inspired by kind of girl everyone wants to be, a perfect match for Wang’s chic, modern, must-have sportswear. See below for Guido's styling steps for Gisele Bündchen.

“When designing his collection, Alexander is very in tune to the details and designs for the girl today, and we wanted the hair style to reflect that as well," says Guido. "It’s a very simple look, an easy down style with a center part and hair tucked behind the ears. It’s a very wearable hair style as well-straightforward and effortless.”

Get the Look:

  1. On damp hair, apply satinwear 02 ultimate blow-dry lotion all over to create the foundation for the style and blow-dry the hair until about 80
  2. percent dry.
  3. Create a very clean center part.
  4. Apply outshine 01 anti-frizz polishing milk from the mid-lengths to ends and let hair air dry the remaining 20 percent to bring out the natural texture. The outshine 01 will prevent that hair from frizzing as it dries.
  5. When dry, tuck the hair behind the ears.
