At Premiere Orlando 2014, Matrix's Chrystofer Benson brought a special guest model named Danielle, who has alopeica areata, on the Color Stage and gave her hair colored with Matrix's new Colorgraphics Lacquers.
Benson met Danielle in St. Louis, and she approached him and asked what could be done for her in terms of giving her hair; her alopecia areata, which she's had since she was a young teen, has made her completely bald.
Danielle has been interested in modeling but didn't feel comfortable and confident in her own skin, according to Benson. But when her young niece, who also has alopecia, approached Danielle about how to deal with bullies at school, Danielle decided it was time to be an example and be strong.
Benson applied hair that was pre-colored with Matrix's new Colorgraphics Lacquers, and for a moment we thought Rihanna was on stage. Danielle was a little shy, but looked stunning--but we think she was gorgeous before, as well.
The rest of the presentation focused on various techniques to use Lacquers, which is a collection of bold, bright hues. For more info, visit matrix.com.
