“Our design, from start to finish, focused on obtaining LEED Certification, the recognized standard around the world for measuring building sustainability. We started the process by diverting 75 percent of our construction waste from landfills. All our building materials came from renewable or recyclable materials. For example, we used cork flooring that not only provides a warm feeling, it’s also easy on the feet of our service providers, and has acoustical benefits.”
