Scott Fontana’s Making the Cut live hair show competition is challenging Southern California stylists to show why they’re the best. The event features live hair cutting and styling on stage performed by leading stylists, a live hair and fashion show, and a  judging panel comprised of beauty industry elite to name Southern California’s Top Stylist. Making the Cut is now accepting entries from professional hair stylists throughout Southern California, including Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties.

The 2015 Making the Cut live hair show will take place in September 2015 in Los Angeles. Stylists are invited to submit their entries online via the Making the Cut website between June 18 andAugust 15, 2015. The submission, which will provide entrants the opportunity to present their three best looks to the judges, will also include a question and answer section about why they are qualified to compete in the live hair show.

After reviewing all nominations, the judging panel will narrow the entries to six finalists. Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of hundreds of guests and media for the chance to win the title, as well as $2,500 cash and other prizes.

“We encourage all professional Southern California hair stylists to enter the 2015 competition,” said Scott Fontana, owner of Cristophe Salon Newport Beach. “We are so excited to bring the Making the Cut live hair show to Los Angeles, giving entrants the opportunity to be named the top stylist in the region.”
