How to Create Volume and Density on Fine Hair

When a client asks for more volume, a hairdresser hears "density." Hair extensions are brilliant at adding instant length and pops of color, but they are also able to add that fullness that signals youth and vitality.

“Working with the round and height of her head, I’m sectioning along the parietal edge and then dipping down into a steep, deep ‘V’ to reach back to the occipital bone. By placing hair extensions in these areas, you’re enhancing the areas that have height,” Dorothy says.
