Who else needs a lift? Colorist, industry influencer and Artist Connective member Deb Tallon (@debtallonhair) of Orem, Utah, says she has been loving the lightening life more than ever this summer, especially as she explores new blonding "goodies" from @paulmitchellpro
"It’s been so fun to try new things," Tallon says, calling out Paul Mitchell's new SynchroLift in particular. "My favorite thing about this lightener is how powerful yet gentle it is. It’s so creamy that I feel like it’s hydrating the hair while it lightens it."
On a recent Artist Connective Instagram post, Tallon shared details and inspo on how well she is seeing the light these days, using Paul Mitchell SynchroLift+ with 20 volume developer to create precise highlights with foil.
I love getting my foils in super tight and taking small sections," Tallon says, adding this technical discipline ensures highlights look like they're growing straight out of the head.
Being precise with the highlights before any toning or smudging work," she advises other aspiring color artists. For this look, she mixed a toning glaze of Paul Mitchell The Demi in 10NB with a splash of 9G.
For another model, Tallon wanted to brighten the hair a bit and craft a fresh cut.
"I did a full head of teasylights using @paulmitchellpro #synchrolift," she posted, again using Paul Mitchell The Demis to smudge and tone: 4N + 6BV for the roots and 9N + 9PA on the ends.
"The Demis are seriously some of my new favorites for toning. Their consistency is perfect and they blend like a dream," Tallon says.
Using The Demis-SycnchroLift combo is also Tallon's go-to for adding a light touch to contrast with a darker base.
This beautiful transformation was achieved by applying Paul MItchell Synchrolift lightener and toning with a formula of The Demis.
Everyone deserves a lift this summer, Tallon touts: "I have been so obsessed with my brunette babes!"
