David Corbett has always appreciated the photography of German fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, who shot Vogue covers and captured a natural, casual look on models even as his work helped to bring about the "super model" phenomenon. Lindbergh chose to shoot in black and white to emphasize the flawlessness of beauty.

To recognize Lindbergh's influence on his own professional work, Corbett, owner of David Corbett Hairdressing in Glasgow, Scotland, created The bl:ACK Collection of the six looks shown here. Corbett explains, "I wanted to put my spin on his captivating black-and-white portrait photography."
