At the Met Gala on May 2, a fundraising ball to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City, celebrity nail artist Julie Kandalec created nail designs that complemented her clients couture looks.  The theme for Met Gala 2022 was "In America: An Anthology of Fashion."

Oscar award-winning American actress, Jessica Chastain is exclusively wearing Gucci. To perfectly match Jessica’s Gucci ruby sequin gown, Julie layered two shades of vernis: First, two coats of Crystal Black, Vernis à Ongles Nail Polish. Followed by one coat of Goldie Red, Vernis à Ongles Nail Polish. Layering shades give even more options and flexibility to the Vernis collection.

British-American actress, Lucy Boynton is wearing Chanel. Her manicure features 3 coats of Ballerina LE VERNIS, plus individually placed clear and aurora borealis (opalescent) crystals. They’re focused more on the tips of her nails - as if she dipped her fingers in the dress.
