Calvaniece Mason Hair Brands, a new, sustainably-driven hair care line for people of color was created by Atlanta-based hair industry veteran and Harvard Business alum Calvaniece Mason.

Inspired by her mother, also a hairdresser, and her own unexpected hair loss journey, Calvaniece made it her mission to develop products that solve the problems she and people of color are experiencing today. Calvaniece Mason offers hair care regimens derived from plant-based sources, containing both natural and organic ingredients, with vitamins and natural oils, PET recyclable packaging, and a mission-driven partnership with Matter of Trust a renewable resources non-profit to which a portion of each sale is donated.

The Products — Calvaniece Mason, launched with 13 products ranging from $22-$61, includes three specially formulated shampoos, five conditioners, styling creams, specialty treatments, and their most popular Anti-Itch + Growth Oil. Calvaniece Mason is the Founder of Calvaniece Mason Hair Brands Co., a professional hair care and luxury hair extensions company. As a professional hairdresser, Calvaniece has been called upon to work with many leading fashion and beauty professionals around the globe. She has worked backstage at New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week at the Élysée Palace (the official residence of the President of France), Vogue’s CFDA Awards and The Golden Globes Art of Elysium.

 Calvaniece has served as a Lead Educator at the Aveda Institute of Atlanta and has trained under the award-winning Francesco Group in the United Kingdom, Aveda’s Advanced Academy in New York and has earned a certification in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School. 

Calvaniece is a business leader,  entrepreneur and humanitarian who has turned her love for beauty and passion for business into a purpose driven sustainable hair care brand for women of color.
