On June 10, MODERN SALON Boot Camp stopped in Dallas, TX for a full day of education and connection for --and with-- the beauty professional. It was an impactful and packed day, with presentations on Pricing and Budgeting, on Branding, on Staying Current, and panels talking about Healthy Boundaries in Your Business and Best Business Decisions.

Boot Camp Hits the Ground Running
This traveling event originally launched in Los Angeles in 2021, then moved to Florida (Tampa, Miami), took in Texas (Fort Worth), returned in October 2023 to Los Angeles, touched down in Dallas in June 2024, and now we're gearing up for Atlanta on October 27.
Topics covered in Boot Camp focus on today’s beauty landscape, and speak to independents, commission-stylists, artists working in hybrid or mobile environments, as well as the aspiring future professional. At Boot Camp Dallas, we loved being joined by area cosmetology educators from Ogle Beauty and Cosmetology School and students and instructors from Blade Craft Barber Academy.

We're especially excited about this upcoming Atlanta event because we will honor 100 years of MODERN SALON ( the title was launched in 1924!) while also celebrating our yearly-list of hair and beauty heroes, our MODERN SALON 100.
