Keri Russell Styled by Brian Magallones for Oribe Hair Care

Hairstylist Brian Magallones used Oribe Hair Care products to create a soft, imperfect knot hairstyle on actress Keri Russell as she was nominated for “Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series, Drama" at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. The effortless bun flattered Keri’s chic, structured dress and stunning makeup look. 

Brian explained, “We wanted to keep it elegant, soft, and effortless, so I decided to pull her hair back off her face, and put it in a mid-height knot, not too messy, but imperfectly perfect.” 

Get the Look: Imperfectly Perfect Bun  

•  Wash hair with Oribe Supershine Hydrating Shampoo. After using or in place of Supershine Hydrating Conditioner, apply Oribe Mirror Rinse Glass Hair Treatment and leave on for one minute before rinsing.

• Once the hair is dry, use a large barrel curling iron to create natural, easy waves in the hair, applying Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray to each section, then set the hair with Velcro rollers around the hairline to keep it smooth.  

• For added texture, work Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray into the hair, then use fingers to comb the hair back and secure in a mid-height ponytail.  

• Twist the hair around the base of the ponytail and pin into a bun.
