After another day filled with French sights and food, we ended the day with L'Oréal's welcome cocktail party at the Tuilleries. The evening got off to a bit of an inauspicious start as it was pouring rain for the outdoor event that was meant to showcase some of Paris' most beautiful gardens.

The folks at L'Oréal were prepared though-emergency ponchos were passed out to everyone and the event quickly became festive as hairdressers from all over the world donned clear plastic ponchos to protect their stylish outfits and of course, hair!

Fortunately, the rain cleared up, the sun came out, and we even saw a rainbow-a stunning sight over the Paris architecture. The champagne flowed and everyone enjoyed meeting other L'Oréal stylists and salon owners from all over the world. As attendees wore badges indicating what country they were from, I was able to spot people from almost every country including Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Greece, Turkey and Mexico to name a few!

This 100th anniversary celebration is truly global and I'm so excited to be a part of it! I can't wait to see what they have in store for us today!
