Are your clients suffering from limp hair or frizz? Look at these tips offered by Chicago-based stylist Amy Abramite, Creative Director at Maxine, and San Diego-based stylist Jet Rhys, owner of Jet Rhys Salon:

For Straight Hair needing…

Volume and body – Spray a dry shampoo like Rene Furterer NATURIA over the hair, leave in for one minute, then massage in at the roots and brush through.

Freshly washed bangs – Spritz with a dry shampoo like Klorane Gentle dry shampoo with oat milk.  With a brush and hairdryer, brush the bangs from one side to the other – this will help them lay flat.

To zip static - Rub a flexible hold hairspray like Rene Furterer Instant hold finishing spray in your palms and pull back the hair into a classic pony.

For Curly Hair with…

Out of control frizz – Gently smooth over curls using a flat iron at the lowest setting.  Finish with Klorane leave-in fluid with papyrus milk.  This protects the curls from humidity and won't weigh them down.
