The dates for Fashion and Beauty Week, the prestigious New Jersey fashion, beauty and celebrity festival, were announced earlier today at the first Board of Directors meeting at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey. Jack Panico, owner of the Panico Salons in New Jersey, is founder of the 2 day event which will take place October 3 and 4 at the Chateau with all proceeds going to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.

"This is going to be a truly important fundraising, fashion and beauty experience," Jack told me before the meeting began. "Our goal is to take in more than $100,000 dollars, and do it in a way that benefits the DRI while raising the profile of the world of New Jersey fashion and beauty professionals."

Jack pointed out that plenty of sponsorship opportunities are open for stylists and the entire professional salon industry. Check out our interview that took place once the Board meeting wrapped up. For more information, go to: www.fashionandbeautyweek.com
