Blow dry hair vertically to lift from the root.
Take section from along the top of the head and flatiron up from the scalp.
Cut straight across to the desired length.
Holding the section as in step three, cut into the ends at mid point to remove selected strands. Blend along the top in this manner.
Direct the hair forward at the fringe. Place in a weft and cut to the desired shape, blending with the existing hair.
