Super stylist Nick Irwin, using TIGI products, created some whimsical designs on wigs for the Chris Benz fall 2012 collection shown this week at New York Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. "These wigs are acrylic," Nick told me as he prepped for the show. "We're going for something very 'Judy Garland at the end of her career'. The wigs are deconstructed, fun and rough." To get the look, Nick used about a can of Dry Shampoo on each wig, and then finished with Your Highness Hairspray. the resulting beehive perfectly complemented the Chris Benz fashions....both a total hit at fashion week. I LOVED this look. Oddly, we haven't seen too many wigs this season so these Chris Benz finishes were refreshing.
