How-To: Miranda Lambert's CMA Awards Bouffant

Go big or go home, right? The ladies of the country music world didn’t disappoint on the red carpet for the 46th annual CMA Awards, sporting big curls, massive volume and a lot of teasing. With all of those head-turning hairstyles, which ones stood out the most?

Check out this retro style on country music favorite Miranda Lambert from celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak, who has styled for starlets including Emma Stone, Zooey Deschanel and Halle Berry. “I started by applying Couture Color Pequi Oil to her damp hair and rough-dried it. The oil is amazing for many reasons. It not only adds shine and smoothness to the hair but it changes the overall texture and condition of the hair, as well as protects it from heat damage.

“I then added a natural looking wave with my flat iron. After that I gently teased the crown with a Mason Pearson brush for some height, then pulled the hair back and twisted it into an effortless looking, textured modern French twist. I let some pieces fall out around the face for a softer look then sprayed all over with Elnett hairspray to hold through the night.”

Check out more standout looks spotted on the CMA Awards red carpet, including Kellie Pickler's close crop (the singer shaved her head in solidarity with a friend undergoing chemotherapy), Shawna Thompson's romantic braided 'do and others.
