Celebrity Style: Brook Burke Charvet at Dancing Finale  Dancing with the Stars co-host Brook Burke Charvet was glamorous on the show’s finale thanks to a multi-faceted hair style by celebrity stylist Jonathan Hanousek. Her pompadour faux hawk and oblong braided chignon was a stunning look that can be adapted for weddings, proms, and any special occasion.

GET THE LOOK:

“First, I layered Bumble & bumble Thickening spray and White Sands UnderCover Styling Spray on damp hair,” says Hanousek.

From the outside corners of the eyes, take two defined parts back to the crown and pin the resulting section to the side. Blow dry the remaining hair with a medium round brush to create a smooth finish.

Take the sides of the hair and gather into a pony tail in the back. Fasten with a small rubber band. Clean up fly-away strands using a fine-tooth tail comb and White Sands Infinity Hairspray.

Use a small round brush while blow drying the top of the hair.  Concentrate on lifting the roots for volume. Spray a few pumps of Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray over all to add smoothness and shine.

Using fingers and a blow dryer, push the hair up and toward the center to create the pompadour. Use a few pumps of White Sands Infinity Hairspray to hold the shape.

Celebrity Style: Brook Burke Charvet at Dancing Finale  Place bobby pins in a crisscross pattern down the center of the pompadour and direct one side of the hair over to conceal the bobby pins. Fasten hair with invisible hair pins. The pompadour should be adjusted to flatter the face and remain somewhat asymmetrical.

Allow remaining hair to cover the pony tail. Fasten with a few pins and gather to create a single braid. Twist the braid upward, tuck in the ends and fasten with bobby and invisible hair pins. Finish the look with White Sands Stuck up Mega Hold Hairspray.
