Candy Shaw Codner grew up in the salon industry as the daughter of Jamison Shaw, a stylist of international renown and the first US World Champion. Codner is the lead stylist and educator at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers in Atlanta and has studied extensively here and in Europe.

Codner is a master of the French technique and her latest Prism collection features traditional square French haircut lines and bold balayage color applications.

“Broken lines in a geometric hair cut make the work more feminine and less androgynous,” says Codner. Combining texture with the balayage color technique adds to dimension and contrasts in the styles in the Prism collection.

Codner was inspired by the fashion trends on recent runways and styled the hair to complement trends like cut-outs and big bows.
