Inspired by the 1920s: Modern Finger Waves Thanks to MODERN Facebook fan Najah Aziz, owner and stylist at Like the River The Salon in Atlanta, Georgia, for sharing this 1920s-inspired style she created.

To begin, hair is shampooed and conditioned. Then, part out the crown. The sides and back are finger waved on wet hair using a molding foam. Molding strips are placed around sides and back of head to secure. Next, the top is combed over straight adding molding foam. The client is placed under a dryer for 20 minutes. Madinah Oil (a grapeseed oil) is used to polish the client's hair before curling. Then, the top is curled tightly on base using a 1/2-inch flatiron. Mist with a light holding spray, finger tossle and get ready for compliments!
