Salon Capri recently did a Golden Globes shoot at their salon and re-created two of their favorite red carpet looks (Margot Robbie and Amber Heard). Learn how to re-create this pumped-up pompadour bun and this super sleek, low chignon.
POMPADOUR BUN:
STEP #1: Start with damp hair and give it lift with a volumizing blowout.
STEP #2: Prep hair with Kerastase Nectar Thermique to protect and nourish the hair.
STEP #3: Next, curl small sections of hair with a 1 inch curling iron. Make sure the front pieces are curled backward to give the hair lift.
STEP #4: Comb through the curls with your fingers to make them soft and loose.
STEP #5: Starting at the crown, tease sections of hair as you move toward the front of the head.
STEP #6: Next, pull hair into a loose ponytail in the middle of your head. Secure with hair elastic.
STEP #7: Lightly tease the ponytail before loosely wrapping it around the elastic. Secure with bobby pins.
STEP #8: Finish it off by spritzing your hair with Kerastase Laquer Couture hairspray to maintain the texture.
