THE GRAMMYS: Madonna's Red Carpet Waves by Wella's Andy Lecompte Madonna hit the 56th Grammy Awards red carpet with her son David wearing coordinating tuxedo outfits. “We’re both working the Ralph Lauren angle,” Madonna told Ryan Seacrest on Live from the Red Carpet. To complement Madonna’s classic, yet clean look, Wella Professionals Celebrity Stylist Ambassador Andy Lecompte gave her soft, loose waves.

GET THE LOOK:

STEP 1: Hair was washed and conditioned with Wella Professionals Brilliance Shampoo and Conditioner.

STEP 2: Hair was gently towel dried, and then a few drops of hair oil were applied to prep hair for a smooth look.

STEP 3: Hair was blown-dry while being twisted away from the face to create natural movement and wave. Once dry, hair was twisted into two buns behind the ears to set the waves.

STEP 4: After 10-15 minutes, hair was released and a one-inch barrel curling iron was used to go through the hair’s natural windings, creating gorgeous, voluminous waves.

STEP 5: A dab more hair oil was added to the hair to create shine.

STEP 6: The look was finished by running a T3 Volumize Dome-Plated flatiron through the ends of the hair to give a looser look, and spraying finishing spray for flexible hold.
