HOW-TO: "!Pop!" Collection Blonde Micro-Crimped Style

FORMULA: Matrix Prizms.plus semi-permanent gloss
The model, Kasey Kayde, started with blonde hair. "To get her camera-ready, I applied formula scalp to ends," Sculnick says.

STEP 1: Cleanse and condition with Matrix Total Results Heat Resist shampoo and conditioner, then prep hair with Matrix Heat Resist Iron Tamer Smoothing Lotion.
STEP 2: Blow-dry using a flat wrap technique and a Denman brush, then polish hair with Matrix Biolage Exquisite Oil Strengthening Treatment.
STEP 3: Using a micro-crimping iron, emboss texture onto a triangle section extending from the high point of the fringe to just in front of the ear on the heavy side of the part.
STEP 4: Pull three strands back and secure on the surface of the hair using Matrix Design Pulse HardLock hairspray to finish. Hold can 8 in. from the head and spray until hair is tacky enough to stick to itself.
