Sue Pemberton, Vero K-Pak International Color Director, has won multiple awards for haircolor (2 time winner for NAHA among others) and has presented to thousands of colorists around the world. MODERN met with Pemberton at a photoshoot to learn more from the color master. MODERN'S Maggie Mulhern asked for some color tips and then asked if there were commonly asked questions during seminars and workshops. Included here are haircolor tips (determining shade based on skin tone and proper application of lightener) as well as the answers to the three most commonly asked questions from fellow colorists.
