Andis educator Danny Amorim's handlebar mustache causes quite the buzz wherever he goes. Perfectly twirled and curled, Amorim has gone through multiple trials and tribulations to come up with the process to create his preferred shape. The Andis educator, platform artist and owner of three barbershops in New Jersey has found that his go-to product is Layrite pomade, which comes in both strong hold (his favorite) and original.
Sometimes Amorim mixes the two formulas, but the process remains the same:
STEP 1: While wet, apply a strong hold pomade to the lengths of the mustache.
STEP 2: Twist straight out from the face.
STEP 3: Allow to set for 5 minutes.
STEP 4: Once dry, curl up to the desired shape.
STEP 5: Hold in place for at least one minute.
STEP 6: Continue to "touch up" throughout the day.
