Wella, the Salon Professional division of Procter & Gamble, announced that Kevin Otero, vice president global operations, Wella, will retire September 30, 2014, after more than 26 years of service.

Otero’s first assignment with P&G was as a sales representative in Phoenix, Arizona in 1988. He went on to hold a number of North American, European and global roles and has spent the last eight years in Wella, P&G’s Salon Professional division, first as North American General Manager and since 2009 as Global Operations Vice President based in Geneva, Switzerland.

“Kevin has had a substantial impact on the P&G business in his 26 years with the company, across retail and professional categories, in frontline as well as head-quarter roles,” said Adil Mehboob-Khan, president, Wella. “His legacy on Wella is long-standing. He has transformed our business, creating a leading portfolio of brands and building a world-class organization. We are grateful for all his contributions and wish him well.”
