American Crew Entries Open Sept.1 for US All-Star Challenge

American Crew is accepting submissions for the 2014-2015 All-Star Challenge, the annual global competition to recognize the best men’s hairstylist in the world. The All-Star Challenge celebrates stylists from around the world, and challenges them to create styles that are modern, expressive and embody the vision of the true American Crew man.

WHEN: Entry is open from September 1 – December 7, 2014

HOW: To enter, cut and style a male model with American Crew products and take two pictures (one face-on, one profile). Upload the photos and enter your contact information via the entry portal located at, along with your contact information, a brief description of your look, and a list of the products used. There is no entry fee to enter the All-Star Challenge.

WHY: The All-Star Challenge seeks stylists with a passion for men’s grooming, to use their technique, styling and individual inspiration to create looks that embody a modern, masculine man. Stylists have the opportunity to be named the “best of the best” in their country and worldwide at a global event.

Previous country finalists have doubled their male clientele in salon and increased product sales after participating in the American Crew All-Star Challenge.

PRIZE: The U.S. Winner will be awarded a $5,000 monetary prize, recognition in a 2015 professional magazine advertisement, mention in the 2016 American Crew Style Selector and a chance to compete in the global American Crew All-Star Challenge (Europe, April 2015). The two remaining U.S. finalists will be recognized with a $2,000 monetary prize.

15 finalists will be chosen to compete in the global 2014-2015 American Crew All-Star Challenge, held in Europe, April 2015.
