For the Perry Ellis Spring/Summer 2015 Collection presented by CHI Hair Care, Lead Artist Rutger was inspired to create a "Done/Undone" look to convey a 50's guy with a cool, sporty and active attitude. To create this easy going look, the hair was neatly groomed around the edges with square tapered sides and messy tops. In addition to the CHI styling products, Rutgers explained that the key to this effortless yet raw style is a "do-rag." He created his own version using a t-shirt bandana tied down across the head to keep the hair down and away from the face until show time to achieve the disheveled top.

GET THE LOOK

Step 1: On dry hair; start by trimming the sides into a more tapered finish leaving in the crown area with a Dura CHI Professional Clipper.

Step 2: Apply CHI Matt Wax through the hair. To create lift and bends at the ends, separate and define natural waves and curls using your fingers. To keep the tapered side in place, use the left over product on your hands to slick down the sides and edges.

Step 3: Finger through the hair CHI 44 Style and Stay for hold with a Dura CHI Professional Dryer to finish.
