Daly had her chance to make this client beautiful. "Sarah had been dark for a long time and was dying to make a big change," Daly says. "She opted for blues and purples, but her conservative job wouldn't allow it, so we went for the extreme change of making her a platinum blonde."

STEP 1: Blend Paul Mitchell Synchrolift lightener and 30 volume peroxide. Apply from half an inch from the scalp to ends and process for one hour. Do not rinse.
STEP 2: At the one hour mark apply lightener at the scalp and process 20 more minutes.
STEP 3: Rinse and apply Paul Mitchell Ultra Toner UTP. Process for 10 minutes.
STEP 4: Rinse and apply PM shines 9v. Process for 20 minutes.
