Alyssa Wiener (@lysseon) of Sylin' Salon, Norwalk, Connecticut, makes it clear that she never uses filters or photoshop on her amazing color designs. "I never alter my photos when it comes to hair," she says. We just had to double check for this breathtaking transformation that was so powerful even we had trouble believing it was the real deal! "It is," she says, and shares the details and how to here, for a service that took 4 hours. Wiener charged $100/hour.

"Her hair was nearly glowing from how bright the color was! I always send my vibrant colors home with a take care card, advising: 1: only wash in cold water, 2: shampoo as little as possible, 3: use a protection when styling and 4: come visit me in a few weeks for a deep conditioner, if needed!"

Step 1: Prelighten using Wella Blondor, 30 volume and Olaplex. Start at the mids, do the roots, then bring it down to the ends. This whole process took about an hour.

Step 2: Prepare 3 different formulas.
A- Manic Panic Vampire Red with Joico Ruby Red
B- Vampire Red with Kenra Creatives Red
C- Urban Shock Orange with Special Effects Orange
"I blend with no 'real' measurements. I just mix until I liked how it comes out on a paper towel. It was probably half and half of each color."

Step 3: Apply Olaplex step 2. Shampoo, condition. Use a porosity equalizer and blowdry 100%.

Step 4: Apply formula A to root area. Then carefully take 1" diagonal sections, starting in the front, and apply formula C in a "deep V" motion at the ends working up the section. "Almost like balayage."

Step 5: Apply formula B in the midshaft, melting the 2 together to create a seamless blend.

Step 6: Process for one hour.  Rinse in cold water, style as desired.
