Sarah Mason (@sarahmason.style) of Salon Dezen of Old Town Alexandria says "My client is an active body builder who wanted to be a beautiful bright blonde for her upcoming competition." Mason got to work to make her hair fit for the stage.
Step 1: Blend1.5oz of Joico lightener with 40 volume developer Plus 1/4 oz of Olaplex No 1. Apply to the regrowth first, then go back through and pull completely through the ends, keeping it very saturated. Process for 30 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.
Step 2: Return with the same formula and reapply to the roots and then pull pieces through as highlights to create dimensions of blonde. Process for an additional 25 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
Step 3: Apply toner: Joico Chrome Color 1 oz of V9 plus activator 1:1. Process for 7 minutes. Rinse and apply Olaplex No. 2 for 10 minutes. Shampoo and condition.
