Christina Fuentes (@christina_preensalon) of Preen Salon, Fresno, California, created this Sangria shade and we asked for more details. "My guest came in with very faded red hair, with about 1" 1/2- 2" outgrowth level 4. Her hair had more of a copper feel to it, so I knew I wouldn't have to pre-lighten her."

Here she shares the HOW TO:

Step 1: Apply Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 5-99 with 30 volume to the base.
Step 2: Create 4 sections separated by zig-zag partings.
Step 3: Inside each section, take diamond subsections (think harlequin pattern). Alternate Joico Intensity colors in Orange, Red, and Pink on her mid lengths through ends.
Step 4: Process for 45 minutes no heat . Rinse and condition with Kerastase Foundant Fluidealiste.
Step 5: Prep hair with L'Oreal Techni Art Volume Envy Extra Mousse on her base and Kerastase Fluidissime and Kerastase Keratine Thermique. Blow-dry with a large round brush.
Step 6: Curl hair with the Style Winder from Bio Ionic and set the curls with L'Oreal Techni Art Extreme Laquer.
