They are as exciting, inspirational and influential as many runway looks during New York Fashion Weeks.  They are the Fab Fashionistas.  Many are fashion stylists, some are journalists, some buyers or whatever there to see the shows, some talent working backstage, most wear the latest from top to toe. Some details are subtle, and others are not!

I photographed in the Lobby of the Mercedes-Benz New York Week at Lincoln Center, or on the Promenade where many were rushing to or from shows, and many were just there strutting their stuff, to be photographed, in all weathers, whether freezing cold or sizzling hot.  It was a scene out there..

The Spring/Summer 2016 New York Fashion Week shows are from September 10th to September 17th and, at this time, I have no idea if the new locations where the shows will be held will be as welcoming for the Fab Fashionistas.  I do know, the new locations are going to be a major challenge to get to and from next season, so this may or may not the last time I can do as I have in the past.  We will see …

Meanwhile, these photos on modernsalon.com are selected from two Seen on Scene albums on my website.  To see thirty more Fab Fashionista photos, click  HERE
