Salons and stylists who purchase Grande Naturals’ limited edition GrandeTEAL Kit can help save lives this month. To mark September as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, Grande Naturals is donating 50% of proceeds from sales of the kit to benefit the Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer Louisa M. McGregor Ovarian Cancer Foundation (T.E.A.L.). The acronym reflects teal as the traditional ribbon color for ovarian cancer.

Created by the late Louisa M. McGregor, who in 2011 lost her four-year battle with ovarian cancer,  T.E.A.L. aims to decrease mortality rates by helping women identify signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer and by urging them to seek medical help at the earliest possible stages. Grande Naturals has set a goal of raising $50,000 this month for the organization, which Grande Naturals chose to support the family of Marc Tull, a customer service and sales associate for the brand. Tull lost his mother to ovarian cancer in 2003.

The GrandeTEAL Kit contains:

  • GrandeLASH-MD—helps to improve the appearance of eyelashes in length, fullness, thickness and darkness in 4-8 weeks.
  • GrandeMASCARA—gives lashes instant, extreme volume and length plus healthier-looking lashes from its peptide blend.
  • GrandeLIPS mini—provides an instant plumping effect in 3-5 minutes and gives natural lips the appearance of fuller, more youthful lips in 30 days.

The kit retails for $84.95 at grandelashmd.com. In addition to this initiative, Grande Naturals was a sponsor of the T.E.A.L. Walk/Run earlier this month in Brooklyn and is hosting fundraisers at local businesses to support the cause.
