More than 75 Sexy Hair employees from all over the world took a step in the right direction, raising funds for Look Good...Feel Better.

More than 75 Sexy Hair employees from all over the world traded in their dress shoes for a pair of flip flops or sneakers to walk a mile-long course located steps away from the  Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, CA to help raise money for the company’s philanthropic partner, Look Good Feel Better (LGFB).  The national nonprofit organization helps those stricken with cancer deal with the devastating side effects of treatment. At the end, more than 344 miles were completed, roughly the distance between Sexy Hair headquarters and the California State Capitol in Sacramento raising more than $6,880 for LGFB.

“This walk is to show solidarity and support for those who have been afflicted with cancer,” Karl Heinz Pitsch, CEO and president of Sexy Hair, says. “We wear our shirts with pride because it has the names of friends, family members and colleagues who are battling, battled or lost their fight to cancer.  This is for all of them.”

Since its partnership, Sexy Hair has raised over half a million dollars for LGFB through its annual walk-a-thons, warehouse sales and proceeds from specially marked Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) cans.
