Chrissy Rasmussen (@hairby_chrissy) of Habit Salon (@habitsalon) Gilbert, Arizona shares the HOW TO for this color correction on her client from Hawaii who has a natural base level 6, "but the ends are super brassy which the Hawaiian sun has turned even brassier." Rasmussen's goal is to use her natural base for an easier grow-out:
STEP 1: Add highlights by weaving with Goldwell Silklift with Olaplex.
STEP 2: Place random low lights with 7N Goldwell.
STEP 3: In between foils apply 7N + 7A at the root.
STEP 4: Tease out some of her ends and apply the bleach formula from step 1 to make them brighter. Process for 10-15 minutes. Shampoo.
STEP 5: At the bowl, apply 7N at the root and 10p Colorance on the ends. Process for 15 minutes and then rinse.
