COLOR CORRECTION: Back To Blonde

"My client came in with banded color with goals of being a clean icy blonde," says Monika Quatrano (@hairbymonika.q) of Filomena Salon in Coquitlam, BC, "I created this look by using a back to back foiling technique."

Here she shares the HOW TO:

STEP 1: To the roots, through the bands, apply Schwarzkopf Vario extra power with 20 volume (2:1) 2 parts developer to one part lightener.

STEP 2 1: To the blotched blonde ends apply Schwarzkopf vario extra power with 5 volume, again 2:1.

STEP 3: Process for 30 minutes, lifting to a level 9 and maintaining the integrity of the hair.

STEP 4: Lowlight with Schwarzkopf Igora 7-16 with 10 volume (1:1)

STEP 5: Tone using Schwarzkopf 9-1.

Style with UNITE 7Second Glossing spray and GO365 hairspray. Curl with a BabylissPro 1 1/4 inch iron.

"My application was meticulous and time consuming but worth every minute for this extreme transformation."
