Alicia McLaughlin, AKA Lish Mac (@thehairstylish), was thrilled with this opportunity to create what she calls a "Neon Nebula" finish for client Nicole.

"This color story is long," says McLaughlin. "This year she had been baby pink, purple, blue and green - this time around she wanted to be almost every color of the rainbow. When she showed me her inspiration photos, it made me think of galaxy colors. I Googled "Nebulas", and one photo in particular stuck out to me - it had some light purples, magentas and a touch of yellow to it. I knew it would be perfect!"

Here McLaughlin shares the how-to in her own words:

"I started by using Malibu's DDL to get her previous Vivids out. Then I gave her a stand alone Olaplex treatment to protect her from breakage. I retouched her roots with Goldwell Silk Lift and Olaplex #1. After reaching a level 9/10, I rinsed and blew her out. Starting in the back, I applied Pravana Violet at the roots and alternated Pravana's Wild Orchid, 1/3 Blue 2/3 Neon Blue, Neon Blue, Neon Green, and Neon Yellow."
