Haley Ferreira (@mermaidhairs), a National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems at Cutting Loose Salon, Sarasota, FL, says her client was "upset with her hair because the previous stylist was 'experimenting' with balayage and left bleed marks, brassiness and comprimised ends. For a softer look I decided to do this look for the most flawless finish."

Here she shares the HOW TO:

Step 1: Apply Paul Mitchell The Color XG 7PN 20 volume to lift her base color, while neutralizing the warm tones. Comb down the base color for a beautiful blend and to add dimension at the ends.  The base color helps to cover up the bleed marks.

Step 2:  Process for 35 minutes. Rinse and apply Paul Mitchell's Marula Oil Treatment for 15 minutes.

Step 3: Using Sunlights and 30 volume developer, hand paint pieces to add lightness around the face.

Step 4: Process for 25 minutes. Rinse.

Step 5: Apply Paul Mitchell's PMShines 9BV from roots to ends as a gloss. Process for 25 minutes.
