THE EVENT: HAIR PLAY, an evening of education and inspiration from teams from Goldwell, KMS California and Arrojo.

DETAILS: It was quite the night at the Gotham in NYC as dozens of artists and models took to the stage to teach the latest in cut, color and design. With the goal to highlight the key initiatives and programs for 2016, each brand scored. More than 450 salon professionals attended to see the Goldwell team (Rebecca Hiele, Mark Holloway and Nick Pagano) create elegant color designs and present the Blonde and D!srupt Collections and introduce Kerasilk, the KMS California team (Simon Miller, Sonna Brado and Lori Panarello) demonstrate new shapes and Nick Arrojo and team razor and American Perm up a storm. Artists on stage and in the audience were engaged and energized.

HIGHLIGHTS: Dozens of models graced the stage. Among the many highlights were presentations featuring: the Blonde Collection, Kerasilk Luxury Hair Care, Color Zoom Distrupt Collection, KMS 40th anniversary and the Arrojo Team.

THE LAST WORD: "We all know that knowledge is power," says Rebecca Hiele. "Advancing your knowledge as an artist in your craft of hair creates a new energy and excitement to your work, while giving you confidence and inspiration. It helps hair dressers continue to master new technique of color, gives the most innovative detail to cut design, and pushes styling and finishing hair from great to amazing. The teams of Goldwell, KMS and Arrojo are tied together with the philosophy of seeking not only what is trending now but how trends will influence what's next.  HAIR PLAY is an event to ignite artists with an on going passion to challenge their artistry and continue to love what they do!!"
